Milne, was an English author, who was perhaps best known for his books about the famous anthropomorphic teddy bear Winnie the Pooh which was popularized by The Walt Disney Company as a cartoon character for various children's programs. Christopher Robin Milne (21 August 1920 – 20 April 1996) was an English author and bookseller and the only child of author A. A. Milne.As a child, he was the basis of the character Christopher Robin in his father's Winnie-the-Pooh stories and in two books of poems He visited his father occasionally in the author's last years, but after A.A. Milne died, Christopher only saw his mother once in the remaining 15 years she lived past her husband's death.
